Whatsapp malfunction affects users across globe

Chat app WhatsApp on Wednesday encountered an outage with users across the globe reporting problems accessing the service.

There was no statement from the company regarding the reported technical issues immediately available. It's with the inclusion of sending as well as receiving messages, images, videos, and so on.

"There was a complaint from hundreds of people about the WhatsApp outage from Malaysia to Spain".

As per their report, nearly 55 percent of the users suffered connection problems, 35 percent had to face the issues pertaining to receiving the messages, whereas 10 percent of the Whatsapp users faced issues while logging in. The outage affected people who use the service on iOS, Android as well as Windows mobile OS.




Meanwhile, WhatsApp is undergoing scrutiny from the Supreme Court in India. Twitter is one of the leading social media sites which serves as a great platform to share information.

Some users took to Twitter, threatening they would migrate to rival messaging services because of the second outage in as many weeks.

"This time, about half of the complaints (56%) around were regarding the connection issues". Several users in London told IBTimes UK that they were unable to use the app, and this reporter is also at the time of writing unable to send or receive messages. It's because this is the second time that WhatsApp facing down (outage) within the gap of just few weeks. 35 per cent complained about trouble receiving messages and 10 per cent claimed facing issues with logging into the application.

Other severely affected countries included Belgium, the Netherlands, and Britain.
