In The New Cover Of TIME Magazine, Russian Domes Overtake White House

The animated video shows the White House with one side being colored red and Saint Basil cathedral's fancy, colorful columns popping out of the top.

Mad Magazine tweeted, "Once More, With Stealing Dept".

The cover is being seen as an attack against Trump for having close ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin, and possibly a reference to recent accusations that Trump disclosed classified information to Putin during a recent meeting.

In the picture, the famous cathedral's spires, which seemingly represent Russia's growing influence and presence in Washington, tower above the White House.

Trump fired Flynn on February 13 after the White House said he misled Vice President Mike Pence and other officials about his communications with Russia's ambassador to the United States.

Aides said they were angry with a president who demands loyalty but is willing to publicly undermine his staff. Mike Pence, the vice-president, and Mr Spicer both insisted that Mr Trump fired James Comey, the former Federal Bureau of Investigation chief, on the advice of his justice department, for example.

However, the latest issue may not be added to the president's collection since it depicts a artist's rendering of Russia's Kremlin (their version of White House) consuming the White House.

In the opening months of the Trump presidency, Time has rolled out a series of politically-focused covers that have featured the 45th president in a critical light.

Trump has repeatedly denied that there was collusion between Russian Federation and his campaign.

In the December cover of the magazine, they had revealed their opposition for Trump.
