Kane moves into top gear to be leading scorer

Harry Kane is aiming to reach 30 Premier League goals for the first time in his career after scoring four in a brilliant destruction at Leicester.

"We are so calm about our key players and they are very happy here".

"We feel so proud of Harry, to score four goals was fantastic", the Argentinian said.

Speaking on BBC 5 Live, as quoted by their official Twitter account, Wright said: "I remember watching him when he was on loan...at Millwall... and on the bench at Leicester". He first delivered an assist to striker Harry Kane in the 25th minute for Tottenham's 1-0 lead. "We need to put it right for Sunday because we want to finish as high as we can".

"We will keep the players that we want to keep", Pochettino said. However, the Leicester fans certainly didn't let the scoreline put a dampener on their night out with the supporters constantly reminding Spurs of how last season had transpired.

Ben Chilwell pulled one back for the former PL champions nine minutes into the second half as it seemed Leicester were making a comeback, but Tottenham responded with four more goals.

The home side were struggling, and with the rampant Spurs and Kane looking to add to their tally, they collapsed, with Kane hitting two goals in three minutes as the game came to a close, becoming the first Spurs player to register four hat-tricks in a season since the great Jimmy Greaves.

Tottenham was rampant as it sealed a 13th win in its last 16 games in all competitions, having already cemented second place.

Ndidi formed a defensive midfield partnership with Ghana's Daniel Amartey but they were overrun by a rampant Spurs side.

"We spoke a lot about changing that feeling and finishing in the best way", he said. And then now it's a moment every season to try to improve the squad again and try to next season and the season after, when we will move to the new stadium, try to not only keep the performances and play that exciting football but try to win some trophies.

Tottenham are set to finish second in the Premier League this season and have no reason to sell their best players.

Leicester manager Craig Shakespeare faces talks with the club's Thai owners next week to decide if he will remain in charge and this thrashing was hardly the ideal way to sell his credentials.

Just as you thought it couldn't get any worse for the defending champions, Kane got his hattrick after Filip Lesniak gave the ball to the striker and from there he powered his shot into the back of net.
