Russian Federation dismisses explosive report about Trump sharing intel

"We want to get as many to help fight terrorism as possible".

The Kremlin has dismissed reports that President Trump shared classified information with Russian officials last week as "complete nonsense", but some of America's allies are expressing concerns the USA leader could be an unreliable keeper of secrets. A Washington Post story has accused him of revealing classified information to Russian officials.

Russia's foreign ministry blasted the article, with a spokeswoman writing that the report was "fake".

"This is internal political disagreements in Washington, the arguments between political groups, political elites", the spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, told Russia's Kommersant FM. "No data, facts, evidence".

Trump shared classified Daesh info with Russia: report
Trump Shared Life Saving Information with Russia

The newspaper story said the intelligence Trump shared concerned a Daesh threat about how to make laptop bombs that prompted the US and the U.K.in March to ban electronic devices in cabins on flights from Muslim-majority countries.

Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull wouldn't comment on the reports, or say whether the they would affect Australia's intelligence-sharing agreement with the U.S.

Zakharova painted the story as "part of the information campaign that started in the United States of America before the elections, during the elections and, unfortunately, can not calm down after the elections". "We can show all the ridiculousness and absurdity".

"The story that came out tonight as reported is false", said National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster. "And the president did not disclose any military operations that were not already publicly known", he said.

Israeli intelligence officials say this amounts to their "worst fears confirmed", that the USA, with whom they have an exclusive intelligence-sharing deal, are passing that information along without Israel's prior knowledge.
