Should the Mets move on from Matt Harvey?

Wilk had been in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with the Mets' Triple-A team Saturday when he was told to get to NY.

The star pitcher was banned for three days without pay by the team on Sunday for an undisclosed violation of team rules, the latest fiasco for a club beset by problems on and off the field this year.

Adam Wilk will start in place of Harvey, whose suspension began on Saturday and was announced Sunday morning by General Manager Sandy Alderson. Wilk, who had been with Class AAA Las Vegas, flew on Saturday from Las Vegas to Denver to Albuquerque, where he found out he was needed in NY.

Following the loss, Terry Collins was asked if Harvey was suspended for skipping the game on Saturday and again, the manager declined to answer, citing a desire to keep things under wraps.

We have some NL East action on the schedule Sunday, as the Miami Marlins take on the New York Mets to close out their 3-game weekend set.

Gotham's Dark Knight has become its Joker with the recent happenings involving New York Mets pitcher Matt Harvey.

"There's a number of reasons why he was not able to show up that day, and he knows exactly what that is, and obviously he's going to be able to address those things", Granderson said.

The 28-year-old will likely file a grievance against the Mets for his unpaid suspension, per Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports. "I don't think the pitches were bad, but I also didn't make them to what we were trying to do".

"There's no question we've got to get some length out of our starters, or our pen's going to be dead in July", Collins said. This will be Urena's first start since September 28 of last season, when he faced the Mets and took the loss after giving up five runs over five innings as the Marlins fell 5-2. "I've got to get out there and make better pitches and get guys out".

Kevin Plawecki was driving home from Citi Field when his phone buzzed.

"There were some moves made last night because we thought something like this might occur", Collins said. Jose Urena gets the start in the series finale and is 0-0 with a 2.35 ERA and 8 strikeouts this season.

Marlins shut out the Mets 7-0, the first shut-out for the Mets this season. Chen is 2-1 with a 4.33 ERA in five starts this season.
