Manchester terror attack: Kim Kardashian slammed over 'tasteless' tribute

Manchester terror attack: Kim Kardashian slammed over 'tasteless' tribute

Hours after the devastating event took the lives of 22 people and injured numerous others, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star posted a photo of herself and her sister, Kendall Jenner, hanging out with singer Ariana Grande and model Hailey Baldwin during what appeared to be a concert.

The tweet also included a photo of Kardashian, her sister Kendall Jenner and Grande, taken previous year at a Kanye West concert. Her first post included a photo of Ariana Grande, herself and friends enjoying a party with the caption, "Concerts are a place to let loose & have fun". It's so scary to not feel safe in this world.

We're sure she had no self-serving intent in posting the picture, but rather was just trying to deal with her feelings and offer support in the best way she knew how at the time.

After she deleted the photo, Kim also followed it up with two more emotional tweets. "I can't imagine the fear and agony these parents must be going through searching for their kids", she tweeted.

One wrote: 'I'm not keen on Ariana but some of the comments are unfair.

Another added: 'If you are really sorry about what happened then why'd you post a pic of yourself and not a pic of the Grande family or a heart?!'

One wrote: 'She's fine. Some even accused the mother of two of using the Manchester tragedy as an opportunity to promote herself with a flattering photograph.

Another added: "Why do you put this picture of you partying with Ariana Grande @kimkardashian So pathetic and sad!"

Many have questioned why she'd choose that particular picture for the tribute. You never fail to disappoint.

It's no surprise she had to delete it!

'3 down, a lifetime to go, ' she wrote, sharing a happy photo where Kanye gazes adoringly at his wife on a night out as they hold hands.
