Vanity Fair reveals 4 new covers for 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi'

Oscar Isaac was born in Guatemala to a Guatemalan mother and Cuban father, while Peckham-born Londoner John Boyega's parents are Nigerian. That's Rose Tico, played by Kelly Marie Tran.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be released in theaters on December 15.

First up, Carrie Fisher is the only one who is wearing something drastically different from what she did in The Force Awakens, with a fancy, flowing cape that has a collar that would make Doctor Strange blush.

The Last Jedi is written and directed by Rian Johnson and produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman and executive produced by J.J. Abrams, Jason McGatlin, and Tom Karnowski.

Georgiadis is expected to present her strategy for turning Mattel around at a June 14 analyst day in NY. She's a maintenance worker for the Resistance and is reported to have a significant role in the plot of The Last Jedi.

Come back tomorrow to get a glimpse of even more photos from the Vanity Fair photo shoot. After all, not only did Finn turn against them in Star Wars: Episode 7, he also insulted her authority when he forced her to deactivate the shields of the Starkiller Base by putting her at gunpoint.

These photos are from the set of the film and they focus on the characters.

And finally, Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) returns alongside Rey (Daisy Ridley). The image was shot on location in Ireland. Finn has gone beyond just the jacket to essentially cosplaying Poe from The Force Awakens, which is adorable whether the two wind up in a romantic relationship or not. There's a reason they didn't call this cover "The Jedi"...

Some speculated that Luke might turn to the dark side or that Rey has some sort of connection to Anakin Skywalker. Captain Phasma, played by Gwendoline Christie of Game of Thrones, is seen in full armour, minus the helmet, for the first time. Does this mean she'll appear this way in the film?

On the cover, photographed by Annie Leibowitz, Fisher wears an wonderful, powerful cape with a stand-up collar that says quite clearly that she's a force to be reckoned with.

But they aren't the only ones with a new look.
