For the first time, however, an iPhone 8 running Apple's new iOS 11, has made its way on to the World Wide Web giving a clear picture of the futuristic anniversary edition iPhone.

Most of the iPhone 8 renders we saw before Apple's WWDC 2017 had the device running on the now available version of iOS 10. Most likely, the OS will launch alongside the iPhone 8. It has already ordered 80 million panels from Samsung Display to meet the capacity for the production of the device- but the Korean giant is maintaining a surplus- keeping in mind the Cupertino giant can place additional orders. It points out that iPhone 8 will have a large circular charging pad inside of it (earlier leaked in schematics) to support wireless charging. It might sport a vertical dual camera setup on its rear surface, repositioned to enhance its usability and effectiveness when the device is placed in landscape mode for AR activities.

All in all, the images show that the iPhone 8 will come with a sleek and premium design.

It appears as though users can now select location access be turned on "Never", "Always", or only "While Using The App". Also, there's the laser and infrared sensor on the sensor bar along with the 3D dual camera system that will provide biometric security on the iPhone.

Apple iPhone 8 is expected to sport an edge-to-edge display with a 5.1-inch screen.

Coming to the pricing details, the iPhone 8 is expected to cost more than $1000 (Rs. 64,296 approx.), which is nearly double the cost of OnePlus 5 whose estimated cost is touted to be Rs. 32,999 for the entry-level model and Rs. 37,999 for the 8GB variant.

Prior to this latest announcement, the iPhone 6 series and later devices were NFC capable but the technology had been completely locked down, with the notable exception of Apple's proprietary Apple Pay function.
