Jared Kushner speaks in public. And Washington takes notice

Shapiro pointed to Trump's unpredictability, including his famous affinity for lashing out at people on Twitter, as a source of Israelis' and Palestinians' fears of saying no to the administration.

"President Trump has made it clear that working toward achieving a lasting peace agreement between the Israelis and Palestinians is a top priority for him", the White House official said. "I believe the president is at the point of his maximum leverage right now", Shapiro said during a conference call organized by The Israel Project. And our systems are in some cases 10 to 20 years out of date, so we're not going to fix that in one day.

Appearing at an event at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, a massive, outdated facility that sits next to the White House, Kushner recounted the obsolete systems used by the Department of Veterans Affairs. Kushner's private attorney, Jamie Gorelick, worked at the same law firm as Robert Mueller, the special counsel appointed to investigate the Trump campaign's possible Russian ties, and Gorelick reportedly told Kushner to get the advice of an independent lawyer about whether he should keep her on as counsel.

Recent reports have said Kushner is considering shaking up his legal team and stacking it with experienced criminal attorneys as multiple investigations into the Trump campaign's ties to Russian Federation have widened in scope. His latest visit comes, however, as Kushner has emerged as a reported focus of the ongoing federal probe into the Russian interference in the 2016 race. Jared Kushner looks like a guy who is way out of his league.

Both Kushner and Greenblatt will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem and P.A. President Mahmoud Abbas at his headquarters in Ramallah.

Greenblatt is scheduled to arrive in the Middle East on Monday, while Kushner will reach on Wednesday, according to the White House official, who detailed the trip on the condition of anonymity.

During his remarks on Monday, Kushner spoke about actions the administration was taking to improve government efficiency.

Others took it to the next level and changed Kushner's voice completely.

"Together we will unleash the creativity of the private sector to modernize the USA government", said Kushner. But it is also a smart strategy for Kushner.

The visit by U.S. Delegates comes nearly a month after President Trump's historic foreign trip to the Middle East, which included stops in Europe, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the Vatican. The question, of course, is whether Trump's administration will be afforded the time its chief deputy needs.
