The Supreme Court had on June 12 permitted the CBSE to declare the NEET 2017 Results.

The result will be displayed on the screen. Do not forget to save a copy and take a print out for future reference.

More than 11 lakh students are eagerly waiting for the results and it is likely to be declared today.

The anticipation for NEET results 2017 is due to the exam replacing all other entrance examinations for admission into medical and dental courses at all government-aided and private medical and dental colleges. "To be announced on June 20, 2017", the official result portal results.nic.in said. Students and parents had also raised this issue before various High Courts where they had filed petitions.

CBSE clarified that the decision to set papers in different languages was meant as a safety measure to avoid conducting the entire exam again if a particular paper leaked. The CBSE had sought vacation of the stay.




Last week, the Supreme Court directed the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to declare National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) results putting a stay on the Madras High Court's order restraining publication of results.

The the official announcement does not talk about the exact time the CBSE can declare the NEET 2017 result any moment by today afternoon.

SC will also examine if there is need for uniformity in English and vernacular question papers for NEET.

After the declaration of results, the CBSE is going to conduct the counselling for aspirants seeking admission into MBBS/BDS courses in various National level medical colleges. Of these students, 1,522 were non-resident Indians and 613 were foreign nationals.
