Perez mum on rumors Ronaldo wants to leave Real Madrid

Reigning Ballon d'Or and Best FIFA Men's Player award victor Ronaldo has been linked with a return to Manchester United having been "outraged" by what he feels is unfair treatment by Spanish tax authorities, making him determined to leave the country.

"Last year we had a possibility that we didn't take, and now we have no agreement with Manchester United to sign him".

"The clause for Cristiano is £1bn".

The 32-year-old won three Premier Leagues title and the Champions League during his initial stay at Manchester United under Sir Alex Ferguson.

Spanish press reports that he's ignored pleas from manager Zinedine Zidane to reconsider his decision, stating he believes strongly it's time to move on.

The Mirror claim that United are ready to go all-out to sign Ronaldo this summer and are set to test Madrid's resolve with a staggering deal worth £175m PLUS David De Gea. I've heard everything through the newspapers.

Not much point offering Wayne Rooney to Madrid as a makeweight, but the former England star is apparently attracting attention in Spain, Turkey, Italy, China and the USA according to The Times.

"We have built a legendary team featuring the best worldwide and Spanish players, in which our academy also enjoys a prominent role".

And among the first issues he will have to deal with is Ronaldo, who he bought in 2009 from Manchester United for a record €94m.

The Portuguese global is now in Russian Federation competing for the European champions in the Confederations Cup. While their relationship did not end on the best terms, Mourinho would surely know how to maximize Ronaldo's talents once again. As you might have guessed with the transfer window soon to open, there was also plenty of talk about which players might be arriving at / departing the Bernabeu over the next few weeks.

They will have the final say.

Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea are also reported to be interested but Bayern Munich president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge denied the German champions would make an offer.
