Dani Alves Agrees Two-Year Deal With Manchester City

Dani Alves Agrees Two-Year Deal With Manchester City

Juventus director Beppe Marotta confirmed Dani Alves will terminate his contract by mutual consent for Manchester City, while Alex Sandro "received a substantial offer".

I suspect this will be one of the storylines to follow this summer: How do the transfer moves at bigger clubs impact what Spurs can or cannot do?

The Italian champions, Juventus, are braced to lose Dani Alves to Manchester City, and Darmian is believed to be at the top of their list of replacements for the Brazilian right back.

But Bellerin is expected to spend one more season with the Gunners, forcing Juve to turn their attentions to Darmain instead.

Txiki Begiristain, City's director of football, had hoped to conclude deals for Mendy and Walker before signing the Blues' other options, Alves and Southampton left-back Ryan Bertrand.

Firstly, Manchester City are a team that pay well.

Marca claims that Alves has already reached an agreement in principle to join City, and The Guardian has reported that the Brazilian footballer has informed Juventus of his intention to leave. This is seen with the likes of Sergio Aguero and David Silva who are very handsomely compensated for their time.

Chelsea have held talks with Dani Alves' representatives about a potential move to the Premier League champions this summer, according to reports.

Alves, 34, won three La Liga titles and two Champions Leagues during Guardiola's four years in charge at the Camp Nou, between 2008 and 2012.

Darmian said he was unsure of his future at United after Italy's 3-0 friendly win over Uruguay earlier this month.
