Disney Confirms Hall of Presidents Enhancements; Addresses Trump Rumors

Imagineers are hoping Trump stonewalls long enough that his presidency is overtaken by scandal and Disney won't be required to include a speaking Trump robot at all, Motherboard reports.

In the past, the White House and Disney reportedly have worked together to write the speech given by the current president.

"The same thing that we've done with other presidents, is the same plan we have for President Trump", Jacquee Wahler, vice president of communications told local Orlando outlet News 13. Abraham Lincoln and George Washington also have speeches in the exhibit.

The "Hall of Presidents" features all of the USA presidents as animatronics giving speeches about the presidency. At the time, Disney Park's promised a June 29 reopening. After all, President Trump danced at the January inaugural ball to Frank Sinatra's "My Way", and his communication team made it very clear he meant to write and record the speech his way.

"The Imagineers [the researchers and developers behind Disney's theme park attractions] tried to point out that they're typically involved with this process", continued the source.

"We have repeatedly stated that the attraction will re-open in late 2017. Disney officials are bending over backwards in an effort not to be seen as disrespectful towards President Trump".

For anyone not educated about this very important White House/Disney World tradition running since the Clinton administration, Disney World hosts a show featuring life-sized Audio-Animatronic (Disney parlance for robot) caricatures of every past USA president.

The delay was due to wrangling with Trump representatives over what would be said in the speech.

Just when you thought Donald Trump couldn't get any more petty, he goes and makes an enemy of Disney World.

Of course, Disney could certainly choose to leave Trump out of the ride altogether - after all, it is their ride, not his. The problem is that, in a odd case of amusement parks imitating life, the Trump administration is insisting on writing the script for the exhibit, rather than collaborating with Disney. "It would most likely result in a call for conservatives to boycott Walt Disney World, which is the company's biggest fear".
