Amazon describes the deals in its press release like this: "Amazon Music Unlimited - Prime members who haven't yet tried Amazon Music Unlimited can get the best deal in Amazon Music history -- four months of the full catalog on-demand service with access to tens of millions of songs, for just $0.99". These deals will last until July 11 and coincide with other offers Amazon will be offering starting on July 5 and afterward.

You do need to sign up for Prime membership, but you do get 30-days free membership if you've not been a member before. Prime is Amazon's premium service which offers unlimited one-day deliver on all your orders, plus access to the Amazon Prime Instant Video service for a fee of £79 per year. However, this year it is extending the event beyond the usual 24 hour period, to start on Monday 10 July at 6pm in the UK.

Although Amazon is the star on Prime Day, competitors like Walmart, eBay, and Best Buy are likely to have strong sales themselves.

Amazon announced that it is, once again, launching its huge Prime Day sale later this month.

An executive with Amazon said that its members loved the Prime Day event and the company has been happy with the response the first two years, which has inspired the company to make the event even more special for its Prime members in 2017.

Prime members also enjoy benefits of some sales before a non-member does.

E-commerce giant Amazon India is all geared up for its Prime Day Sale that starts July 11.

The service usually costs £7.99 a month for Prime members (or £79 a year on top of Prime membership).

Onsite vouchers give Prime members up to 25 per cent off select Prime Pantry food and items.
