There's a chance of showers, and possibly an afternoon thunderstorm, again on Friday, although the temperature will cooler, dropping into the low 70s, the weather service said. With the low rain chance, we will have partly cloudy skies all in between any showers day so the rain will be more isolated and very hit or miss. East wind around 5 miles per hour. A 50 percent chance of rain is predicted, and less than a tenth of an inch of rain is possible. North wind 3 to 6 miles per hour.

The heat remains through the weekend with hit and miss chances for thunderstorms.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. Calm wind becoming west around 5 miles per hour.

Friday night - Mostly cloudy, with a low around 63. Southeast wind around 5 miles per hour. Sunny, with a high near 86. There will be an east northeast wind of 3 to 6 miles per hour.

Sunday NightMostly clear, with a low around 67. Partly sunny, with a high near 82.




Saturday night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly before 8 p.m. By the afternoon and evening, scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop along in behind the cold front.

Tuesday night - Mostly clear, with a low around 66. Expect sunny, but hazy skies on Wednesday and Thursday.

Thursday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 84.
