Coulter sparks twitter row over seat in Delta Airlines

Coulter responded to her seat reassignment with a two-day tweetstorm that included about two dozen tweets and retweets about the situation, including insults against the woman who had been given her seat so she could sit with her family.

"If you thought it was about $30, @Delta, why didn't you give this woman $30 and let me stay in my PRE-BOOKED, ASSIGNED seat?" she wrote, sharing a picture of the woman who was placed in her seat.

Coulter had alluded to Delta employees being rough, tweeting: ".@Delta employee questionnaire: "What is your ideal job: "Prison guard? She also quipped that Delta's motto is: "How can we make your flight more uncomfortable?"

"Ann Coulter was tripping over $30". Animal handler? Stasi policeman?

A look through the airline's past tweets shows a customer service representative tried to contact Coulter at the time of her problem. NOT ROBOTS! Globalism & mass immigration.

Hell hath no fury like a victimized Ann Coulter.

Coulter then began drudging up old, negative articles about Delta, which is when they chose to hit back in an epic way. The airline was quoted by Reuters as saying in a now-deleted Tweet the airline is "sorry you did not receive the preferred seat you paid for".

"Additionally, your insults about our other customers and employees are unacceptable and unnecessary", Delta said in a second tweet. After almost a day, Delta replied and took her to task on Twitter. "Each of our employees is charged with treating each other as well as our customers with dignity and respect".

Did Coulter overreact? Should a company still be held accountable to offer consumers what they paid for?

"Delta expects mutual civility throughout the entire travel experience", it said. "When there was some confusion with seating assignments during boarding, a flight attendant stepped in and asked that all of the passengers move to the seats noted on their respective tickets".

During her Twitter onslaught, Coulter referred to some of the Delta crew members as "Nurse Ratchets" - alluding to the main villain in the classic 1975 film, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, as reported by The Washington Post. Here's what Coulter said on Twitter.
