'Walking Dead' Stars Mourn The Death Of Stuntman John Bernecker

Ross Marquand, who played as Aaron in "The Walking Dead", sent his love to Bernecker's family and colleagues in this trying time.

AMC released a statement confirming that Bernecker's family had "decided that he will be removed from life support".

The stuntman's death is now under investigation by officials from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), an agency of the U.S. Department of Labour, and acting union Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA).

"The safety of our members is paramount".

"Although devastated by their loss, John's loved ones have ensured his legacy will live on, not only through the personal and professional contributions he made during his life, but also by their generous decision to allow John to save lives as an organ donor", the statement read. "The family requests privacy during this time as they say goodbye to John". There's no word if representatives of "The Walking Dead" will appear as scheduled at the upcoming Comic-Con in San Diego.

"Our production is heartbroken by the tragic loss of John Bernecker", Gimple said.

"John's work on "The Walking Dead" and dozens of other movies and shows will continue to entertain and excite audiences for generations", the statement continued. Bernedecker also did stunts in Logan, The Fate Of The Furious, The Hunger Games, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Olympus Has Fallen, Goosebumps, Get Out and Black Panther.

Fans may have to wait a bit longer than usual for the next season of "The Walking Dead". "We are keeping John and his family in our thoughts and prayers". AMC has confirmed that production on The Walking Dead has "temporarily shut down".
