One of Usher's 3 New STD Accusers, Quintisha Sharpton, Tells Her Story

One of Usher's 3 New STD Accusers, Quintisha Sharpton, Tells Her Story

Two women and a man are accusing Usher of not telling them he had herpes, according to a lawsuit filed Monday. It was later reported that one of the three would come forward on Monday. The fact that Usher may not have disclosed whether he had an STD before allegedly hooking up with them is the issue. Bloom merely cited news reports that Usher was diagnosed with herpes sometime in 2009.

Sharpton said she was sporting a crown at an Usher concert when she and her friends received word they were invited backstage.

In 2012, Usher settled a case with another woman who claimed he had infected her. In court documents, the unidentified woman said she had "suffered severe emotional distress and has been extremely depressed. knowing there is no cure". I am doing this so that he does not do this to anyone else.

Attorney Bloom went on to say she's been contacted by others and may file additional lawsuits. All three are being represented by Bloom. The others will be named in the complaint as Jane Doe and John Doe and will remain private.

Sharpton has been tested for sexually transmitted diseases and does not have herpes.

However, as a highly-contagious disease that can cause high-risk pregnancies, miscarriages, and expensive treatment - Bloom says that usher should have told his sexual partners about his diagnosis. "I never heard from him again".

When Sharpton read about that case, she contacted Lisa Bloom to see what her legal options were, even though she tested negative for the virus when she had a child previous year.

"I was upset by the reports because I would have never consented if I had known".

However she contacted Bloom as she felt her "rights were violated" as she was placed at risk of contracting an incurable disease. It was Usher who called her and asked what hotel she was staying in and what room number. About an hour later, Sharpton says Usher arrived at her hotel and they had "sexual contact". "We spoke for awhile then we engaged in sexual contact", Sharpton said. And everyone, even ordinary people who find themselves swept away by a superstar, have the legal right to be respected, which includes being warned about STDs, so that each person can make a decision about her own health and her own body.

You can see Sharpton speaking at this morning's news conference in the video below. It was just after my 19th birthday. She mentioned her child during the news conference this morning. "Especially now that I'm a mother", Sharpton added. Searches for her name on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram will all turn up negative results.
