Meet Taika Waititi as Korg in New Thor: Ragnarok Clip

Chris Hemsworth was on Jimmy Kimmel Live talking about the new film Thor: Ragnarok.

Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi and The Hulk star Mark Ruffalo pleaded for jobs in the most hilarious way while walking the red carpet in LA today.

Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok - the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization - at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela.

Marvel Studios has a long history of allowing early reactions to their films, never acting like they want to hide their finished products, and Taika Waititi's Thor: Ragnarok is proving to be no exception.

Kimmel cut to the green room to chat to the two of them, when suddenly Matt Damon wanders into shot muttering "they have snacks in here".

Thor responds, "That's a nice way of putting it". However, when the focus returned to Hemsworth and Kimmel on stage, Damon pulled his last trick by broadcasting a live feed of his face on the jumbo screen that serves the show's backdrop making it hard to escape him.

He also said he wanted to make a change for Hemsworth's sake.

"Why are you friends with him?"

Based on the first clip from Thor: Ragnarok, the Contest of Champions that takes place between Thor and Hulk in the movie seems to be part of a game between Grandmaster and Thor's mischievous brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston). Critics who have already seen Thor: Ragnarok have voiced generally positive reactions to the epic blockbuster - citing its ideal mix of humor and adventure that fit Hemsworth's third superhero standalone.
