Matt Damon Interrupts Chris Hemsworth's Interview with Jimmy Kimmel

Chris Hemsworth was seated on stage, and the camera cut to Mark Ruffalo and director Taika Waititi who were back stage.

ICYMI over the weekend, Donald Trump Jr. picked a fight with Jimmy Kimmel, asking his opinion on the defamed filmmaker's allegations of sexual harassment. Sharon Waxman, the founder of The Wrap, has since claimed that an earlier exposé was never released after Weinstein got Russell Crowe and Matt Damon to vouch for the legitimacy of Fabrizio Lombardo, a man reportedly hired to "take care of Weinstein's women needs". "I'm on the show!" he declared, saying he had "hacked into the system". Hemsworth was promoting his latest film Thor: Ragnarok and had brought Ruffalo and Waititi with him to the show.

Hemsworth told Kimmel that Damon and his family have visited him in Australia and that Damon is his friend, but more out of pity.

But Damon wasn't going to let Kimmel bump him off his lineup again. "I saw a friend in need so I made a decision to extend a handshake".

"More and more people are suggesting that Republicans (and me) should be given Equal Time on T.V. when you look at the one-sided coverage?" he added.

Turns out, there was a third guest in the backstage area: Damon, doing his best to one-up Kimmel in their ongoing feud.

"Put up the emergency screen saver", Kimmel instructed his crew, as an image of Damon and Michael Douglas in Behind the Candelabra appeared.

Kimmel and Damon have been "feuding" since 2006. Both actors have had films produced by Weinstein in the past, including Damon's breakout hit Good Will Hunting.
