Chelsea's Ngolo Kante ruled out for 3 Weeks

Antonio Conte has revealed that Chelsea starlets Kyle Scott and Ethan Ampadu could be given a chance to impress after confirming that N'Golo Kante is likely to be on the sidelines for around three weeks. We must have patience with him and with this calf problem.

The one bright piece of news in all this doom and gloom is that Alvaro Morata, the one marquee name that Chelsea did manage to pick up in the summer, looks set to return from injury much quicker than originally expected, and has even suggested he may be available for this weekends game against bottom club Crystal Palace - though that seems very unlikely. We don't have another player with the same characteristics.

"[From] the previous scan maybe [Kante will be out for] around 20, 25 days, but in this situation you must pay great attention".

He added: "We have to approach these seven games without Kante and at this moment in time without Drinkwater".

"For sure we're not lucky in this period".

"It will be very hard play Fabregas and Bakayoko for seven games in a row and we must hope we don't get any more injuries during this time".

David Luiz performed impressively on his one midfield start this season against Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley in August, but Conte added that he is reluctant to move the Brazil worldwide out of his normal role in the middle of Chelsea's back three unless he is left with no other choice. "We have seven games in one month and we have to find different solutions, to adapt defenders in midfield".

"As you know, we have three injured players", said Conte.

As far as betting is concerned, we are not getting a good price on Chelsea winning this game and as a result, I think that is a bet we can avoid.

"If I can, I prefer not to change a lot". In addition to that, the both teams not to score is also a good betting option since I don't see where the goals will be coming from for Crystal Palace.
