Kid Rock says he won't be running for US Senate

After teasing at a possible run for U.S. Senate in Michigan, Kid Rock said he will not be seeking the nomination.

"F-- no, I'm not running for Senate".

"(Expletive) no, I'm not running for Senate. "Who f--g couldn't figure that out?" "Are you f-cking shitting me?" he told Stern.

Members of the Kid Rock Fan Club will be able to purchase tickets starting October 31 at 10 a.m. Fans who pre-order his new album will be eligible for a special ticket pre-sale starting November 1 at 10 a.m.

Rock said the idea of running for Senate in his home state of MI - which he has publicly toyed with for months - was a mixed blessing. Earlier this year, the right-leaning Kid Rock toyed publicly with the idea of getting into politics, and in 2016, he voiced his support to Rolling Stone for then-candidate Donald Trump, another celebrity without political experience. That's according to the Detroit Free Press.

"It's the worst advice I ever gave myself, but it's been the most creative thing I've ever done", he said.

In conversations with those in his circle, Kid Rock would tell them to "roll with it for a while", even he wasn't going to pursue the office. "And I got to see everybody's true colors".
