Blake Shelton named 'People's Sexiest Man Alive'

Blake Shelton named 'People's Sexiest Man Alive'

"I'm on a good run right now, I'm having a lot of fun", the "Make Me Like You" singer told Extra.

The Voice announced Shelton being named Sexiest Man Alive at the start of Tuesday's episode in a segment also featuring Levine. "As proud as I am and honored that you guys asked me, that's really the only thing I care about", he said. 'If I can be sexy for a year, I'm taking it!'

"People are going to hate me over this", the country star and coach on The Voice commented to the celebrity magazine. Until I have to hand the title, which is what it is to me, over to someone else, this is mine.

Shelton's latest album, "Texoma Shore", hit No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums this week.

Another Twitter user wrote: 'Blake Shelton being Sexiest Man Alive is the direct result of Trump's America'.

Shelton cracked that his first reaction was "that y'all must be running out of people".

'I'm not gay but I think Ellen [DeGeneres] is hot!.Wait a minute. What?!' read one. "People say I haven't changed since before I made it".

He's not, of course. "It could be 2 o'clock in the afternoon before I eat and then I realize I'm starving, so then it's a bag of Cheetos", he says.

Although he felt flattered to be given the rank every man desires, Shelton expressed his confusion over the selection and used humility to blame his win on symmetry.

Sterling K. Brown (Randall) and Justin Hartley (Kevin) spoke to People about the honor. Their reveal went to NBC's "Today" show.

Ventimiglia said that he believes humor, confidence and kindness are key.

Hartley agreed: "Stubble and forgiveness, that's my mantra".
