Rose McGowan Arrested for Felony Drug Possession

Actress Rose McGowan, a leading voice against sexual harassment in Hollywood, has accepted an arrest warrant on a drug charge in a Washington suburb.

McGowan turned herself in at the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office after a warrant was issued February 1 by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department, authorities confirmed.

A warrant was issued for the actress' arrest for felony possession of a controlled substance. Police say the items tested positive for narcotics.

"What a load of HORSES-T". McGowan has accused Weinstein of raping her in 1997, and claims that one of the disgraced producer's close associates offered her $1 million to remain silent about the assault.

"I have been silenced for 20 years", McGowan said at the convention.

McGowan had not released a statement about the warrant as of Monday night.

"Refusing Weinstein's hush money, Rose McGowan calls out Hollywood", she later tweeted.

She tweeted: "Are they trying to silence me?"

In another tweet she was even more blunt, telling Affleck to "f- off".

Ms McGowan reportedly reached a settlement with Weinstein after a hotel room encounter during the Sundance Film Festival. It's said cocaine was found inside a wallet she dropped. McGowan has starred in several films, including "Scream", "Jawbreaker", and "Planet Terror", as well as the early 2000s television series "Charmed".
