Most of those detained in a sweeping anti-corruption drive in Saudi Arabia have agreed settlements with the authorities in exchange for a pardon, the attorney general says. The attorney general said the negotiations will eliminate the need for prolonged litigation.

"It will also provoke the sentiments of Muslims throughout the world in light of the great importance and the pivotal status of Jerusalem", the source added.

US President Donald Trump called King Salman to inform him of his decision to move the US embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.




"It will constitute an unwarranted shift in the USA impartial position, at a time when the world looks to it to achieve the desired peace process", the source said. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hopes that the USA administration does not move forward with it; so as to not comprise the ability of the U.S.to continue in its effort to achieve a just resolution for the Palestinian People aligned with the 2002 Arab Peace Initiative and other relevant global resolutions.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Tuesday former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
