Feels like my film is releasing: Saif on daughter Sara's acting debut

Talking about Kaalakaandi, Saif Ali Khan said, "Kaalakaandi is a fun film".

In a media statement, Saif said, "If Padmavati comes in (on that day), we will think of shifting our release date. I think when we get closer to that release, it will be like my own film is releasing".

"I wouldn't call Kaalakaandi a niche film, I'd call it unpretentious".

According to a DNA report, Saif Ali Khan's upcoming dark comedy Kaalakaandi might also be affected if Padmavati finally releases in January.

Saif Ali Khan is very excited for his daughter, Sara Ali Khan's debut film, "Kedarnath". We all know that most of the filmmakers and production house avoid clashing at the box office but the Nawab Khan believes that the different genres of films releasing on the same day show the diversity that Cinema can offer. Recently, we saw Secret Superstar and Golmaal Again releasing on the same day and both films did well. Speaking about it, Saif said, "It's easy to think that people no longer want to see me in a film". He feels they could have sold it to be released in another medium.

Well, we appreciate that Saif is confident about his film, but releasing it along with Padmavati is not a good idea.

About why he chose to get into the digital space with Sacred Games, Saif Ali Khan said, "It is the future of movies. But filmmakers are wary about it and you need to take that into consideration", Saif added. I think they would have wanted to see more food, working in the NY kitchen or the high-pressure job. Directed by Debutant Akshat Verma and produced by the Cinestaan Film Company and Flying Unicorn Entertainment.

"I don't think it was even publicised correctly".

The actor also feels the movie could have been marketed well.
