LaVar Ball: Sons LiAngelo, LaMelo Have Signed with Agent

Instantly, I knew everything I thought I knew about Lavar Ball and his family was wrong.

We got LaVar and LiAngelo at LAX. and the Big Baller dad told us the door's wide open for his middle child to hoop in the same place he was ARRESTED for shoplifting last month.

LaVar Ball pulled LiAngelo out of UCLA.

LaVar Ball's middle son, LiAngelo, withdrew from UCLA earlier this week, about a month after he and two teammates caused an worldwide stir by getting arrested on shoplifting charges during a team trip to China.

However, the National Basketball Association has what is known as the 'one-and-done rule, ' requiring players to be at least one year removed from high school or at least 19 years of age before entering the league, which is why the pair are looking to sign outside the United States.

LiAngelo withdrew from UCLA earlier this week after never playing in a regular season game as a Bruin.

As the two younger Balls' agent, Gaines will now oversee the process of finding their next team, and has already fielded interest from teams in Europe and Asia. The former, an undersized power forward, might be hard-pressed to find a job overseas if not for name recognition, while it's unlikely the latter's flamboyant play-making flair will overcome his lack of physicality and unwillingness to play off the ball.

This comes after LaVar yanked LaMelo from Chino Hills High School earlier this year to train and home-school him before doing the same with LiAngelo, taking him out of UCLA earlier this week.

It's nearly certainly all right with the Bruins.

"I think it is a good decision", Lonzo Ball said.

On Thursday, though, LaVar put that dilemma to rest.

Sources told ESPN that the brothers are being considered by teams in Europe and Asia, where a few American high schoolers have previously gone to play professionally while preparing for the National Basketball Association draft.

"If they are over there, I wish them the best", Ball said.

It's unclear where the pair will end up, but it will be interesting to see what level of basketball they end up playing at.
