Nokia 6 Successor Could Feature Galaxy Note 8 Infinity Display-Like Screen

With the surfacing of Nokia 6 2018 on TENAA, the launch looks imminent. While this handset wasn't aiming to be a top-tier phone, it followed the ethos that Nokia phones should offer "premium quality" and "competitive pricing".

On to the front, the smartphone has a taller 18:9 aspect ratio display with all new bezel-less design. Nokia 6 2018 might be powered with Snapdragon 630 which pairs with 4GB RAM and internal memory of 32GB.

Sadly, the Nokia 6 (2018) will also have a single rear camera, which is expected because of the Nokia 7, which features a dual rear camera setup for the mid-range price tag.

HMD Global's Nokia 6 will be getting an update for 2018, according to a recent leak from China. Now, the device appears to have passed the TENAA certification in China. To be sure we need to wait until the device is launched.

In addition, there will be another Nokia 9 smartphone releasing in the second half of January.

So, what do you think about the Nokia 6 (2018)? The Nokia 9 has also been listed as the TA-1005 and TA-1009, but it is possible we're looking at multiple regional variants and different capabilities, such as different network calibration or dual-SIM functions. HMD Global will most probably launch the smartphone during the MWC 2018 in late February with availability around April. The fingerprint sensor will also be at the back. The leaked images show big screen and no home-button for fingerprint scanner which means that the device will be having a fingerprint scanner on the back below the camera.

To recall, Nokia 6 comes with 5.50 inch Full HD display.

Coming to the Nokia 6 (2018) edition, the device could be a much improved version of the original Nokia 6 - be it in terms of camera, hardware, design or even software. The smartphone is expected to launch as early as next month.

The original Nokia 6 has a 5.5-inch display and is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor.
