Ally Sheedy Calls out Golden Globes Winner James Franco in #MeToo Tweet

The actress posted a Twitter thread in which she called out Franco for winning and actor Christian Slater for attending the ceremony, accompanied by the #MeToo hashtag. She was shocked Franco was even there, let alone the fact that he won Best Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for The Disaster Artist.

Before Sunday's Golden Globes telecast, I had no intention of going to see "The Disaster Artist".

James Franco's Golden Globes win didn't sit right with some women watching at home.

In a profile in The New York Times about the play, Sheedy hugged Franco in front of the reporter and called him "a handsome, generous man".

James continued: "19 years ago, he was stuck in traffic from the Golden Globes". I know they don't want me... guy with accent, long hair... so I show them. The making of the film inspired James Franco's critically acclaimed film "The Disaster Artist", which was released in 2017. She also wrote, "If a famous actor who has the ability to make or break my career with the snap of his fingers offers me a part, I don't have bargaining power".

Do you understand life, James Franco? She also claimed that Franco invited her friend, then 17, to his hotel room. "Please never ask me why I left the film/TV business", the actress revealed in a series of since-deleted tweets. The younger Franco seemed reluctant at first, but if there's anything he's learned in his 32 years on this earth, it's that whatever his older brother says, goes. So, I show them.

James Franco may have won the Best Actor category at the Golden Globes but the actor is grabbing headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Franco accepted the award alongside Wiseau, while noticably body-blocking him away from taking the microphone onstage.

You get it. It was Franco's moment to enjoy the praise of his peers over a movie he made likely only to stand on that very stage and enjoy the praise of his peers.
