Celine Dion gives KL a miss in Southeast Asian tour

The excitement is set to come back to those same fans after it was confirmed on Friday that Dion will finally be performing in the country this year.

Prices had yet to be announced at the time of writing.

Dion took to Twitter on Friday morning to announce the tour, as well as the tour dates being posted on her official website.

Celine Dion has never been one to shy away from a challenge, so when an overeager fan jumped on stage and grabbed the singer in Las Vegas, she waved off security and handled it like a pro.

Her one-night only concert in the Philippines will be staged at the Mall of Asia Arena on July 19.

Tickets for her Manila show will go on sale to the public beginning January 18 at 10AM.

"I can't wait to be there with you. But you know what, I'm glad you came closer to me, ' she added, barely getting the sentence out before the woman launches herself at the songstress".

"Look at me, look at me in the eyes - can you see my heart?" In 2004, Dion received the Diamond award at the World Music Awards recognizing her status as the best-selling female artist of all time.

Footage has emerged of Celine Dion handling a drunk stage invader incredibly gracefully, even as the overzealous fan humped her leg.

"I love you, you love me", Dion starts singing, trying to detract from the freaky moment.

"I'm glad that. I thought you just wanted to come closer to me".

The video emerged as Dion canceled her show the following day due to a "nasty virus".
