Brazilian Ronaldo: Neymar Has Taken A Step Backwards

BRAZIL legend Ronaldo believes Neymar's career has taken a step backwards following his move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Whilst Neymar is fully committed to PSG this season - many feel he was similarly committed to Barcelona, given his relationship with Leo Messi and Luis Suarez.

The Brazil global has enjoyed a blistering start to life in the French capital, scoring 20 goals and bagging 14 assists in 20 games in all competitions so far.

During a recent interview with former Brazil global Zico, Ronaldo admitted that he was surprised by Neymar's choice, and feels it was a step in the wrong direction.

But Ronaldo believes his decision to play for PSG is a bad career move.

"But there are challenges that everyone seeks".

Neymar continued his wonderful form on Wednesday night, scoring against Amiens as PSG reached the last four of the Coupe de la Ligue. Neymar's former side Barcelona secured the signature of Philippe Coutinho as they continue to revamp following the Brazilian's exit.

Do you agree with Ronaldo's opinion?

The Brazilian is in his prime, he is both young and experienced, and has already won a lot and can even win more. I was at Barcelona and went to Inter Milan (in 1997). However, with the current form Paris Saint Germain is expected to dominate the game, but Nantes with back-to-back wins will try to show us their best game and play draw or win.
