Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Liam Payne and Stormzy are among the nominees for this year's Brit Awards, Britain's most prestigious pop music prizes.

Dua Lipa's "New Rules", Rag N Bone Man's "Human", Jonas Blue's "Mama" and Jax Jones's "You Don't Know Me" are also nominated.

And he's no doubt hoping to add the awards for Best British Artist Video of the Year and British Single of the Year to the display, as he admitted that he's pretty chuffed to be nominated so early into his solo career.

Gorillaz, London Grammar, Royal Blood, Wolf Alice and The xx are up for British Group, while Dave, Dua Lipa, J Hus, Loyle Carner and Sampha will battle it out for British Breakthrough Act.

Singer-songwriter Sampha, who won the Mercury Prize past year, competes with Dua Lipa and rappers J Hus, Loyle Carner and Dave in the British breakthrough act category.

Harry Styles's Sign Of The Times, Liam Payne's Strip That Down and Zayn and Taylor Swift's I Don't Wanna Live Forever all earn nominations.

Foo Fighters - who will perform at the 38th Brits next month - are nominated for best worldwide group alongside fellow U.S. acts Haim, The Killers and LCD Soundsystem, as well as Canadian group Arcade Fire.

J Hus and Rag'n'Bone man have three nods each, while Stormzy, Loyle Carner, Little Mix and Clean Bandit have two.

Alicia Keys, Björk, Lorde, Pink and Taylor Swift are up for International Female, while Beck, Childish Gambino, DJ Khaled, Drake and Kendrick Lamar are nominated for International Male.
