GoDaddy to Sponsor Last Two Races

GoDaddy to Sponsor Last Two Races

Danica Patrick is one enormous step closer to finalizing her plans to end her racing career with what is now called the "Danica Double" - NASCAR's Daytona 500 in February and IndyCar Series' Indy 500 in May.

Patrick made 115 Verizon IndyCar Series starts in seven seasons and grabbed worldwide attention when she led 19 laps and finished fourth in her Indianapolis 500 debut in 2005.

She and longtime sponsor GoDaddy are reuniting for her final races, and the company will serve as her primary sponsor for both.

Danica Patrick will end her motor sports career competing with a sponsorship she's most recognized for - GoDaddy.

GoDaddy, NASCAR's Danica Patrick reunite for farewell races

"I'm back to GoDaddy Green". Although many thought Patrick would team with Ganassi, or reunite with Andretti or Rahal, it's looking more as if she could end up with Dreyer & Reinbold Racing, a team that now only competes in the Indy 500.

"You could say, "we're getting the band back together", said Chief Marketing Officer Barb Rechterman". "As we move forward getting into where I'll be racing, some of those things have come full circle, so that kind of goes back to letting the universe take care of things and letting it happen. We like to argue about who was more important to who, which I think is a great argument", Patrick told FOX Business' Maria Bartiromo on "Mornings with Maria". "She's passionate, tenacious and creative just like so many of our customers who are also looking to leverage the power of the internet and turn their "side hustle" into a full-time business". Patrick starred in a number of those ads, including 13 ads that aired during the Super Bowl. Danica absolutely epitomized the heart of our GoDaddy customers.

"More Super Bowl commercials than any other celebrity, that branding, the sponsor has to activate if they want to get a benefit and GoDaddy has been the best at doing that", she said. Through all of this, Patrick was married, divorced, spent five years dating fellow driver and competitor Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and then seemed to find herself through a tailored diet, exercise and a healthy lifestyle.
