Instagram test lets some share other users' posts in Stories

This Instagram feature is now available to limited users and will soon make its way to all Instagram accounts.

It is not yet clear when, if ever, all Instagram users will be able to access the new feature.

That means it will also notify other users when you take screenshots of their Stories. Since people tend to screenshot the content of others and add it to their Stories anyway, this would be an appropriate tool for Instagram users to take full advantage of.

The person who posted the Story will see a Sun like symbol right next to the person's name who took a screenshot or screen recorded the Story.

Instagram is testing on an option of Regram that allows to post other accounts pictures to your Instagram story.

Instagram has started giving warning to the users who have been enjoying secret screenshot habit, that they are no longer hidden from the story owner, through a warning message that appeared on their accounts.

TechCrunch reports that the feature is now being tested on a small percentage of Instagram users, so there's a good chance you won't see the feature active in your app. According to a report by The Next Web, the trick can be used to breach Instagram's system as well.

"We are always testing ways to make it easier to share any moment with friends on Instagram", the company was quoted as saying. It will work with accounts which are public, and is apparently being tested with only a small number of users.

Just last November, Instagram was testing a "Regram" button to share other user's post instead of having to installing an app to do it. It was labeled as "Add post to your story".
