Gamers will know she provided the theme songs for the previous Kingdom Hearts games. It also shows more glimpses of the Toy Story and Tangled worlds, with Sora and company fighting alongside Woody and Buzz, and Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, as well as what appears to be an Ariel summon. Popular monsters Sulley and Mike Wazowski are in the game and even the main characters get an appearance change too.

Also, within the initial trailer two characters important to the story that haven't been seen in the game's new engine Marluxia and Vanitas were shown as well.

Unfortunately, there's still no release date but it's been announced that we'll be getting a release date at E3. There's also a mini game which looks similar to a Game & Watch title. Square Enix has been kicking around ideas for Kingdom Hearts III as far back as 2006. There's an exploration phase, which was likened to being more open-world, and there's a combat phase. At D23 Expo Japan, Square-Enix released both the English and Japanese versions which you can hear below.

In terms of progress, Square Enix revealed that development has been split into three sections, Early, Middle, and Late. The early phase worlds are 90 percent complete, while middle section worlds are at around 60 percent.

Square Enix also confirmed that Utada Hikaru will be returning for the third game's theme song, which is called "Don't Think Twice". He added: "It is bound to surprise everyone".
