Wardrobe malfunction mars routine of South Korean ice dancers

Yura Min was on thin ice during the team figure skating team short dance when, skating with partner Alexander Gamelin for South Korea, Min experienced a nightmare.

Instead of panicking, Min handled the issue like a total professional. Without blinking an eye, the figure skater adjusted her arms to prevent the garment from slipping any further - all while continuing to nail her routine. The skater told The Detroit Free Press that she was "terrified" the entire time.

"It's very hard to stay concentrated when you're anxious about whether your costume is going to stay on", she said.

How about five? That's how long it took into her Winter Olympics debut for Yura Min's dress to slide down her shoulders in what could have become a disastrous wardrobe malfunction during her appearance on the rink during Sunday's event.

"I know that if this comes undone, then the whole thing is going to come undone". "I went from the beginning to the end. In my head, I was thinking, 'Is it better to stop and fix it and get the deduction or keep going?'" SBNation reports that the skating pair received 51.97 points for their routine, and finished in ninth place out of 10 competing teams.

"Don't stop that, pull it off. Let that motherf***er come off".

Riedell Shoes, Inc., is among the companies that sponsor both Min and Gamelin, who will return to the rink on February 19 for the individual ice dance competition. They're representing South Korea at these games as part of the host country's "special naturalization" program that has helped boost their numbers for the 2018 Games.

Their points in the team event may have suffered, but Min avoided complete disaster.
