Bikini-clad drunk driver sentenced in fatal crash

Bikini-clad drunk driver sentenced in fatal crash

The bikini-clad woman who killed a man and an unborn child pleaded guilty to intoxicated manslaughter.

"I still feel like this is just a really really bad dream and that my husband is just going to come home, but he's not", Kristian Guerrero said to the jury on Tuesday. The vehicle involved in the accident belonged to 23-year-old Fabian Guerrero-Moreno, a soon-to-be-father.

"I just want to say to the victims that I'm sorry from the bottom of my heart".

The trial is ongoing, but since Elliott pled guilty in front of the jury, they have been instructed to return a guilty verdict on the two counts of intoxication manslaughter and then she will be sentenced. She hit another vehicle killing Fabian Guerrero, a San Marcos resident, injuring his wife, Kristian Guerrero, and killing their unborn child as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.

Guerrero, who is now 25, took the stand March 6 to talk about the crash.

"I got to hold him, I got to look at him", said Geurrero.

Her family testified that they feel she can change people's lives by sharing her story.

Her blood liquor level was 0.199, as indicated by KXAN, and as far as possible in Texas is 0.08. She said that the bottle appeared to be around one-fourth full. "It occurs to me though, that it's not the jury's intention that that occur, and that's going weigh pretty heavily with me", said Judge Robison. I know that an apology doesn't do much. She had been arrested on drug possession twice a few months prior to the crash.

Elliott entered a guilty plea to all three charges on Monday, and could face anywhere from probation to 20 years behind bars.
