NCAA tournament First Four 2018: UCLA vs

Among the eight teams vying for a chance to play on Thursday or Friday are No. 11-seeds UCLA and St. Bonaventure, who will face off on Tuesday.

The victor of the St. Bonaventure vs UCLA game will take on No 6 Florida at 9:55pm ET on Thursday, March 15.

St. Bonaventure is back in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2012 after securing its first at-large bid since 2000. The 1970 team played 28 games, four less than this edition has. "Yeah, but we don't control that, so we know we're in Dayton and we're playing St. Bonaventure, so we've just got to get to work on them", Alford said about having to play an extra game.

First Four UCLA vs St Bonaventure basketball game details are below. They beat Arizona on the road, and swept their season series against the USC Trojans. The Bonnies are one of the hottest teams in the country - they've won 13 of their past 14 games, and have a slew of impressive wins this season, including over Rhode Island, Davidson, Maryland, Vermont and at Syracuse - and even have familiarity playing at UD Arena in Dayton, Ohio, in conference play.

"We couldn't be happier". With that being said, though, when St. Bonaventure (who finished winning 13 of 14) is forced into a play-in while Oklahoma (who finished losing 11 of 15) is not, something is wrong with the system. The Atlantic 10 regular-season victor has victories this season over Maryland, Syracuse and Rhode Island.

In their overtime loss against Arizona in the PAC-12 tournament the Bruins were out rebounded by nine, surely getting to one of those boards would have helped the Bruins win the game.

John Hatching's isn't only a big fan of the Bonnies but he also has two daughters, one who attended the University and the other who's still now a student there and will be celebrating tonight if they win. He led the Pac-12 with 20.3 points per game and has been especially hot lately.

BONNIES BELONG: St. Bonaventure is driven by the guard play of seniors Jaylen Adams (19.8 points per game) and Matt Mobley (18.5).

St. Bonaventure played in the seventh NCAA Tournament in school history. Holiday led the PAC-12 in both scoring (20.3 ppg) and assists (5.8 app) while also making both the All-PAC-12 and All-Defensive teams.
