Moto G6 Plus specs revealed on popular benchmarking site Geekbench

Moto G6 lineup of smartphones is expected to be unveiled on April 19 in Brazil. The Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus, and Moto G6 Play will launch on April 19 in Brazil and they have been subject to several leaks. Well, the renders of the Moto G6, G6 Plus and G6 Play are in line with what the previous leaks have revealed in terms of design and looks.

The Moto G6 Plus will be the most expensive of the three smartphones and will feature a dual-camera setup and the highest RAM and storage combination, while the Moto G6 will also feature a dual-camera setup but will likely be powered by a Snapdragon 400-series chipset, most likely the Snapdragon 450.

Motorola's Moto G6 has prematurely appeared on the American and Canadian versions of Amazon earlier this week, with the two product listings originally being spotted by German tech journalist Roland Quandt. Previous reports have tipped that the smartphone will incorporate a 1.4GHz octa-core processor, which could be either the Snapdragon 430 SoC or Snapdragon 427 SoC. The highlight of the G6 Play will be the fingerprint scanner placement; It's housed inside the Motorola dimple at the back, which is nothing new, but manufacturers have long forgotten this. For photography, the smartphone will carry a 13MP rear shooter along with 8MP secondary camera with a flash. Starting with the G6, which will be available in indigo, silver, black and rose gold according to the renders.

Rumored specs for the phone include an nearly 6-inch Full HD display with an 18:9 ratio, a Snapdragon 630 chipset and 6GB of RAM. Last but not least, the whole package could utilise a 3000mAh battery with support for Turbo Charge. Besides, renders also suggest the handset the handset will feature dual-lens camera primary camera and a fingerprint sensor on the front. All three phones are expected to ship with Android Oreo out-of-the-box. Connectivity-wise, you can expect dual-SIM card slot, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio port.

The Moto G6 Plus also made a score of 866 and 4123 points in Geekbench's single and multi-core tests respectively.
