New Battlefront 2 Mode Has Ewoks Hunting Stormtroopers At Night

New Battlefront 2 Mode Has Ewoks Hunting Stormtroopers At Night

One of the cool new features coming is a new mode called "Ewok Hunt".

As mentioned, the new update will also let you play as those loveable (?) scamps the Ewoks in a new limited-time mode, Ewok Hunt. Overall, there are more than 50 additional appearances in this update. As with other cosmetic items, they can be bought using earned in-game currency or by using crystals, which can be purchased using real currency.

The "Battlefront II" controversy, along with similar quarrels between publishers and fans in games like "Destiny 2" and "Middle-Earth: Shadow of War" led to a larger debate about the role of loot boxes in video games. After removing the microtransactions and refining the progression system Star Wars Battlefront II has become a much better experience.

Night on Endor launches on April 18th on all platforms, check out the screenshots below.

Ewoks will have to kill all Stormtroopers, while the Stormtroopers try to survive the attack before they're evacuated. Ewoks, armed with Wisties and spears, must wipe out all Stormtroopers to win the match, while Stormtroopers win by holding off the Ewoks for an undefined amount of time until an extraction team arrives. Each stormtrooper defeated spawns as another Ewok, multiplying until the Empire's forces have been completely eliminated, and the Ewok celebration can begin. People seem to think that for the most part, we got it right. At least we're not getting a Jar Jar mode.

Going forward, DICE implied that they want to keep up a monthly cadence of smaller content releases, while also providing larger multiple-month Seasons that will pair with big events like Star Wars film releases an anniversaries in the Star Wars universe. Season Two is on the way and we can confirm that you'll hear more about this in early May.

Battlefront II continues to grow as the ewoks join the fight.
