New Jodie Foster Thriller HOTEL ARTEMIS Trailer Arrives

Video: We've been hearing about Iron Man 3 screenwriter Drew Pearce's directorial debut for a while now, but we finally have a look at the dystopian future of Hotel Artemis in action - and its pretty unbelievable cast of criminals.

The first trailer for star-studded thriller Hotel Artemis was released on Monday. The trailer introduces viewers to the underground world of criminals seeking refuge at the hospital.

The highly-anticipated film also stars a ton of famous faces including Oscar-winning actress, Jodie Foster, Charlie Day, Brian Tyree Henry, Jeff Goldblum, Dave Bautista, and Kenneth Choi, among others. After Waikiki (Brown) and Honolulu (Henry) participate in a heist that leaves the latter injured, they flee to Hotel Artemis to seek health care.

"In HOTEL ARTEMIS, set in riot-torn, near-future Los Angeles, Jodie Foster plays The Nurse, who runs a secret, members-only emergency room for criminals". Foster gives an ominous one-liner explaining the hush-hush policy: "This hospital was built on two things: trust, and rules". We expect to see plenty of comparisons to John Wick, but aside from the similar premise of the hotel/hospital for criminals, Hotel Artemis is clearly different in tone. In addition to the tension among the baddies in the hospital, there is a kingpin on the outside who wants to take out one of the patients...but that doesn't fall in line with the rules... The sci-fi crime thriller hits theaters June 8. Watch the trailer above.
