Incredible scenes as Napoli and their fans celebrate dramatic Juventus victory

League leaders Juventus and second placed Napoli met on Sunday night at the Allianz Arena in Turin, with a win for the home side all but confirming their seventh straight Serie A title.

"We have always believed in the title, we have to continue like this and believe in ourselves until the end", Koulibaly said.

It was only a third home league defeat for Juventus in the past five years.

"We didn't play well tonight, but I think it was a boring match".

The champions now have a hard run-in to the season against Inter Milan and Roma - both fighting for Champions League places.

Napoli will hope to capitalise on any slip-up by their modern rivals when they tackle the likes of Torino, Sampdoria and Crotone across their remaining fixtures.

"Juventus are still in front, so nothing has really changed and we should only be thinking about the next game", he said. "I have seen a lot in football ... anything can happen".

The top four qualify for the Champions League group stage next season and Lazio's win kept them fourth with 67 points, behind AS Roma on their head-to-head record. None of the teams can catch either Napoli or Juventus.

Napoli have only ever won two Serie A titles, both with Diego Maradona in their side, most recently in 1989-90. "It's an enormous satisfaction".

"We gave our fans a huge joy today that goes above and beyond the standings". There where further problems for the hosts in the first 10 minutes, as veteran defender Giorgio Chiellini came off with an injury - with Stephan Lichtstenier coming on as his replacement. Allegri later revealed Chiellini would miss Saturday's match at Inter.

However, Miralem Pjanic hit the post in the first half with a deflected free-kick.

Napoli dominated the match but seemed to have run out of ideas and energy until the final minute when Jose Callejon's outswinging corner was met by the Senegal worldwide with a monstrous header which left Gianluigi Buffon helpless.

"It was one of the most important goals of my career".

Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic opened the scoring on 32 minutes before Stefan De Vrij netted the second 11 minutes later.

Inter Milan are just outside the Champions League places in fifth one point behind after a hard fought 2-1 win over Chievo.
