Jason Witten believes Dez Bryant will end up with Packers

The influx of speculation on Bryant's most popular landing destination was a result of his former teammate and Cowboys tight end Jason Witten's comments on The Adam Schefter Podcast.

In a response from Bryant, he said he remains very appreciative of the offer from Baltimore before going on to question what he pictures as the media's motivation to continue to place his character in a negative light.

"I think he's going to end up going to the Green Bay Packers", said Witten.

Witten, who noted he doesn't have any inside info on Green Bay, also pinpointed another possible landing spot for Bryant: the Saints. "You partner him up with Jimmy Graham and Aaron Rodgers, I think that offense can put up a lot of points". Bryant was cut by the Cowboys a couple months ago, right around the time the Packers made the decision to cut receiver Jordy Nelson.

"Because I still believe Dez can high-point the football as good as any other wide receiver in the National Football League".

Bryant's veteran presence could tempt Gutekunst to take a look at him, but really Rodgers doesn't need the three-time Pro Bowler to put up big numbers.

"I don't have any insight on that". Past year we didn't produce as well as an offense, his stats were a shell of themselves or what they used to be. So with Bryant leaving the Cowboys where will he be throwing up the X in 2018?

This is good news for the Vikings, who won't have to go against Bryant twice a season, unless he signs with the Bears or Lions, which seems unlikely. Then, the Ravens picked up receivers Jaleel Scott and Jordan Lasley during Day 3 of the Draft, continuing to revamp the wide receiver room that includes free agent signings Michael Crabtree, John Brown, and Willie Snead. The Packers are going to be explosive on offense regardless, but he could give them an added dimension. Bryant is an excellent red zone threat, while Adams is incredible between the numbers.
