Teacher shot dead after having sex with student

RACHAEL DelTondo, a Pennsylvania teacher who was suspended from her job after a leaked police report said she had been found in a steamed up parked auto with a 17-year-old boy, has been shot down in a hail of gunfire.

Rachael DelTondo, 32, was standing on her mother's Buchanan Street driveway, in Aliquippa, Beaver County, on Sunday when she was killed in a hail of gunfire.

A medical examiner confirmed that DelTondo died from several gunshot wounds to her torso. "I counted six shots that I heard".

The coroner ruled her death a homicide, saying she died of multiple gunshot wounds to her chest.

Ms DelTondo was suspended last November from the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School. The incident allegedly occurred in February 2016, and DelTondo was found with the student in a parked vehicle at 2:00 a.m. near Aliquippa hospital.

The report stated that officers were on patrol at around 1.50am on February 6, 2016, when they saw a auto parked near the old Aliquippa Hospital. The report stated that no charges had been filed against DelTondo in the incident.

Inside was DelTondo and the teen.

DelTondo reported begged officers not to tell her fiance "because he would get mad". School officials only found out about the incident in October 2017, and later learned that the teenager was never a student at PA Cyber. When qeustioned by the officer, Deltondo claimed that she was just friends with the student and that they were only talking; police added that she claimed she was only talking with the teen because "he was upset and needed someone to talk to".

"The reason this report was not filed in February 2016 with the Aliquippa School District, Children and Youth Services and a mandated report to the Department of Education was because it was an attempted cover up", the second email reads. The report had not been made public until it was sent anonymously to the school.

The school announced they were suspending her the following month. A meeting between the Aliquippa Police, state police, and district attorney is expected on Tuesday (May 15) morning, and a statement is expected at that time.

Brian Hayden, chief executive officer of the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School, said he was "saddened" by the death. However, the check never came in the mail, so the family reached out to their local KDKA-TV reporter, Marty Griffin's segment, "Get Marty". We express our sympathy to her family, friends, and co-workers.

Hayden said the school reported the incident to authorities under Pennsylvania law and placed DelTondo on paid suspension. Her mom, Lisa DelTondo, bought her a $10,000 wedding dress from Anne Gregory Bridal in Dormont.

The teacher was planning a big, elaborate wedding with her Italian-American family, which included a $10,000, custom-made dress from a NY designer, CBS Local reported.

DelTondo's fiancé reportedly called off the wedding several months after the 2016 incident. Officials said they are looking at a cellphone for information. The horrific crime took place in a quiet Aliquippa neighborhood, just outside of Pittsburgh. "I really don't... attractive lady, friendly, knew everybody, talked to everybody".
