Backstreet Boys Talk Heartbreak & First New Music in 5 Years

The group, which this year celebrates its 25th anniversary, last released a studio album in 2013 with World Like This.

Backstreet's back alright. The hitmaking boy band returns with "Don't Go Breaking My Heart", which dropped in the early hours of Thursday (May 17) through a new deal with RCA Records.

The band, which celebrated 25 years together last month, resumes its Las Vegas run in July.

Speaking of the new single, Kevin says: "The minute we heard this song we knew it was special". "I geeked out over the piano and synths".

The song is called "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" and no, it's not a cover of Elton John's duet with Kiki Dee. just so you know.

Howie continued: 'I'm very proud that the record is a little bit of everything - we've got our signature pop melodies and harmonies, and also dabbled into dance, country and R&B while staying true to ourselves'.

The Backstreet Boys have a new single.

It's the first new music from the group since they teamed up with Florida Georgia Line for their single God, Your Mama and Me, which was released as a single in 2017. But, as we all enjoy saying every few years: Backstreet's Back.
