Five people are dead and one person has been hospitalized following a shooting at a home in Ponder, Texas.

"I have to start funeral arrangements and don't know where to begin with that", said Simpson in an emotional post.

The shooting took place at a home in Ponder, Texas, located about 33 miles north of Fort Worth.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office identified two of the dead as Justin Painter, 39, of Fort Worth and Seth Richardson, 29, of Lancaster, South Carolina. The ex-wife was the only person who survived the murder-suicide.

The Denton County Sheriff's Department is helping the Ponder Police Department investigate the case.

Authorities were called to a home at 610 Lonestar Park Lane about 8:30 a.m. for a call about a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Ponder ISD Superintendent Bruce Yeager said school records did not indicate that it was the home of any students or staff in the district.

Shortly before arrival, firefighters were told there were multiple victims inside the home.

"I want to pray for the victims of the deceased family", Hinojosa said, according to the Dallas Morning News.

"I can confirm that we are not actively looking for a suspect at this time".
