James Corden and Adam Levine pulled over during filming of Carpool Karaoke

They started off singing some classic Maroon 5 songs, talking about raising kids in Los Angeles- you know, the usual.

James Corden experienced a "Carpool Karaoke" with Adam Levine - getting pulled over by the cops while filming the popular "Late Late Show" segment.

The Maroon 5 frontman broke out some of the band's biggest hits, like "Moves Like Jagger", "Sugar", "This Love", "She Will Be Loved", and the more recent "Wait".

Finally, the pair discovered that they are were being trailed by a police officer who proceeded to pull up beside them while they were mid-song.

A laughing Corden asks, "You want us to pull over so he can sing a song for me?" "Because you've caused a traffic hazard".

The sheriff's department told CBS2 the incident was not planned.

"I completely panicked. How are you so chill?"

Both Corden and Levine got a kick out of it, with the CBS star telling his guest "this is a real first", then asking, "How are you being so cool about this?" "I panicked in my absolute core", James said to Adam.

If you're going to get pulled over, having Adam Levine riding in the front seat might make things a little better for you.

However, the arguably more entertaining part is when they reach a racetrack and speed freak Levine takes the wheel as he's quizzed by Corden, who looks more than a little anxious at times.
