LeBron James leads Cleveland Cavaliers to fourth straight finals over Boston Celtics

I have no argument whatsoever if you want to trust in LeBron.

But what gets forgotten is that later in that same game, James rattled home a jumper with 10 seconds left to give Miami its 23rd consecutive win.

On Friday night, the Cavaliers kept their title hopes alive, taking a second-quarter lead and not looking back - despite losing Kevin Love to a concussion just five minutes into the affair.

Jeff Green had 19 points and eight rebounds, J.R. Smith scored 12 points and Tristan Thompson had 10 with nine boards for the Cavaliers. "Obviously, getting a couple of minutes [of rest] per quarter would be great, but that's not what our team is built on right now".

"Our goal going into the series was to make him exert as much energy as humanly possible and try to be as good as we can on everybody else", Stevens said. If the guys we have in are playing well, he can get more rest. I'll do the same all day (Saturday) from before we leave to go to Boston, and then once we get into Boston, I'll do that as well.

Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James (23) celebrates after drawing foul against the Boston Celtics in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference finals of the 2018 NBA Playoffs at TD Garden.

Boston was up 43-39 at halftime after leading by as many as 12 in the first half.

And he would not be denied an eighth straight trip to the NBA Finals. But it was shocking because, before this recent loss, the Celtics were unstoppable at home. With eight minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, teammate Larry Nance Jr. went up to block a shot attempt from Celtics rookie Jayson Tatum and fell onto James's shin on his way down.

"That was a special moment for me", Tatum said. Just the same you can download the Watch ESPN app onto your mobile phone or tablet and use your subscriber login to access the Game 7 live stream. She is surrounded by family while he is away, and Green is hopeful if she does go into labor while he's gone, doctors could delay delivery until he gets there. "You just have to have ideal intentions", Stevens said Saturday. "We need that from him, especially Game 7", Thompson said. We ain't got no choice. The Celtics can withstand a single-man effort from James. Jaylen Brown contributed 27 points on 11-of-18 shooting including 2-of-5 on 3-pointers, while pulling down three rebounds. In his career, he has averaged 34 per game in going 13-9 in elimination games. "Those will be some fun practices, I'm pretty sure".
