Moto G6 lands at Verizon for $240 outright

The Z3 Play will have a 6 inch AMOLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass on top. Both will also be available from Moto Hub stores across the country as well.

Separately, Lenovo-owned Moto may unveil a beefed-up Moto G6 Plus in the near future, as per a report.

The Moto G6 plus is also a Dual-SIM phone and comes with Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box. It features a Dual 12 MP (f/1.7) + 5 MP (f/2.2) camera setup at the back. Notably, Motorola is focussing on bringing in a new design language for its phones this year and we've already seen results of that with the Moto G6 and Moto E5 series that were launched a few weeks ago. While the Moto G6 Play will be available from Flipkart, Moto G6 can be purchased from Amazon India. The supposedly revised version of the device is shown running the Android version of the AIDA64 benchmark which clearly lists its system-on-chip of choice as Qualcomm's Snapdragon 660.

Under the hood, the device will run on the Snapdragon 636 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and either 32GB or 64GB of onboard storage. At the front, the Moto G6 plus features an 8MP, f/2.2 camera with LED flash. The storage will be expandable via a microSD card, most probably up to 256GB. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

While the quality isn't the greatest, you can see a side profile of the Z3 Play in the photo below. The upcoming phone will also get navigation gestures to take advantage of the full-screen display and face unlock as well. At the same time, hopefully we hear more about the 5G Moto Mod. To recall, the Z2 Play came to India with a price tag of Rs 27,999.
