Manchester City to start title defence at Arsenal

Both Arsenal and Chelsea FC are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they look to significantly bolster their squads ahead of next season.

Leicester City's first game at King Power Stadium comes a week later on Saturday 18 August, when newly-promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers visit King Power Stadium for the first time since 2013.

Although all fixtures dates are subject to change due to the requirements of broadcasters, the release of the Premier League schedule for the 2018-19 campaign enables managers, players and supporters to plot their club's route to success, whether it be a title push or battle for survival.

Perhaps the most eagerly anticipated game next season will not be the Manchester derby, but the first clash between City and Liverpool at Anfield on October 6.

Claude Puel's men then head to Southampton, host Liverpool and travel south to face AFC Bournemouth before a home clash with Huddersfield Town completes their opening six games.

It's going to be a tasty start to the season.

The pair are among six Premier League clubs in the competition, with Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham and Liverpool also competing.

The match will mark the 3 time that an International Champions Cup game is held in Ireland and the second time to the Aviva Stadium and will be just one of 27 matches that will take place across the United States, Singapore and Europe.
